HealthLawIQ ("we," "our," or "the Service") is a healthcare legal research tool operated by LaunchReady.ai. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.
Information We Collect
Research Queries
When you submit a research query, we store the query text and the AI-generated response for quality improvement purposes. Queries are associated with anonymous session tokens, not personal identifiers.
Automatic Data
We collect standard web analytics data including:
- IP address (for rate limiting and security)
- Browser type and version
- Pages visited and time on site
- Referring website
What We Do NOT Collect
- Names, email addresses, or personal identifiers
- Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Document uploads (this feature is intentionally excluded)
- Payment information (the beta is free)
HIPAA Notice
This service is not a HIPAA-covered entity and is not designed to process, store, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI). Do not include patient names, medical record numbers, or any individually identifiable health information in your research queries.
Third-Party Services
- Anthropic (Claude)- AI model provider. Queries are sent to Anthropic's API for analysis. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
- Voyage AI - Embedding provider for legal text search. Query text is sent for embedding generation.
- Supabase- Database hosting. Data stored in Supabase's infrastructure.
- Vercel - Application hosting and analytics.
- Cloudflare - Bot protection (Turnstile).
- Upstash - Rate limiting infrastructure.
Data Retention
Research queries and responses are retained for quality improvement and may be reviewed to improve the accuracy of the service. We do not sell or share query data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including rate limiting, bot detection, encryption in transit (HTTPS), and input validation. However, no internet service is 100% secure.
